27 Top Secret Links for Getting Coupons That Nobody Else Gets

Editor’s Note: Every wonder how some people get so many coupons and savings on items that you can never find coupons for?  This week, Teresa shares with you the top secret links to getting VIP grocery coupons that are not available to the general public.

Teresa Britton is a married mom of three who’s always loved a good bargain.  Now she finds bargains for you, and posts the best sales and freebies every day on her deals website, MomsWhoSave.com   and on twitter at @MomsWhoSave .

How to Get Coupons That Don’t Exist

A great way to get manufacturer’s coupons you’ll rarely see anywhere else is to ask for them. That’s right—all you have to do to get coupons for many of your favorite brands is just ask.

If you have foods, beverages, or drugstore products you love, but you don’t see printable coupons for them, or you’d like more coupons, contact the manufacturer. Most packages list a toll-free phone number, mailing address, or, easiest of all, an email address or website for customers to contact the company.

Recently, I contacted the Amy’s company. They make organic frozen foods. I wrote to say how much I enjoyed their products, especially all of the vegetarian options. They wrote back by email immediately and asked for my mailing address. Within a few days, I received a thick envelope filled with coupons—many for free items.

I certainly can’t guarantee that every company will respond the way Amy’s did when I contacted them, but now that all it takes is an email (We don’t even have to worry about the cost of a stamp!) and a few minutes of your time, it’s worth a try. Here’s the link to Amy’s contact page if you’d like to send them an email.

Another company who has sent me coupons is Cedarlane Foods. They’re on Twitter and sent out a message that anyone who emailed them at Feedback(at)CedarlaneFoods.com with their address could get coupons. I did, and just a short time later, I got a very large stack of coupons in my mailbox.

I plan to try several more companies and will let you know my results. You can give this a try if you’d like, and share with the rest of us how you did by posting in the comments below. I’ll take our successes and add them to future posts, so we can all use this information.

27 Top Secret Links for Non-Publicized Grocery Coupons

Here are some company names and contacts to get you started. Just click to go to the contact page. (If you like this list, please Digg it with the button at right. Thank you!)

These are companies that people have reported having success with in getting coupons. I can’t vouch for all of them personally, but this will give you a start. I can tell you that from what I hear, you are likely to have better luck when writing to a company with praise, rather than a complaint. (Make sure to include your mailing address in the comments section if there’s not a space for it somewhere else!)

  1. Thanks for all the links. I don’t have a good region for some of the coupons I see listed on blogs. I look at my inserts and often don’t have what others list. This will really help.

  2. I scored some extra savings yesterday with the e-coupons from Shortcuts.com — got Green Giant frozen boxed veggies for a quarter apiece by combing store special, manufacturer coupon (doubled) and the e-coupon from Shortcuts. It’s max 1 minute to load ‘em on your shopper card. BTW, I posted the link for a free box of 100 recycled Reynolds Wrap on my blog this a.m. You can only print out the link on Earth Day, but if you register at the Reynolds site, they will send an email reminder. Thanks for *all* the great links in your post!

  3. @ProHomemaker: Thanks so much for the Reynolds link- I’ll certainly sign up for mine!
