I believe that teaching your children about good moral ways are a must in our world today especially!
When so many of our young ones are looking up to the “heros” of today we need to inform our kiddos that they too make many uncalled for mistakes! Tiger Woods, for one, is a huge highly paid athlete that for no other than his own selfishness,wrecked his family. His children, and all children who are products of extra marital affairs, are emotionally destroyed by what the cheaters choose to do.
Children need to understand that the Bible teaches us that when we take on our partners through marriage that it is forever or until one of the spouses dies. They need to know that God expects that from us. If your children are taught early own that God’s teachings are what they have to do to obtain a good life , then they will come alot more apt to honor his ways.
Divorce causes so much anxiety and problems with children today, It has become the “normal” way for children to be sent to counseling and to others for help with their questions. Many times children feel like they are the cause for mommy and daddy’s problems.
If we can get our generation of children today to understand that marriage and the children are the best things in life and that it needs to be forever together, then we will have a much lower divorce and adultery rate.
Teach your children to put God first and to seek him in all they do!
Teach them to pray!
Setting good examples ourselves is a must in their lives.
