Send New Singing Birthday Cards to Facebook or Phones!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of eCards from American Greetings. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you’re a big fan of doing everything online, even sending birthday cards, American Greetings has a new service for you that will add a little variety to the old standard eCards.  They’ve created new singing video eCards that you can send for birthdays, Father’s Day, or just because.   You can even personalize the lyrics to make the singing card special for them.

Here is one of the new singing video eCards:

Once you choose your singing card, you’ll see dropdown menus that give you choices for names, foods, activities, etc. that will be inserted into the song.  If you don’t see the name you want, you can choose “Dad”, “Mom”, “brother”, “daughter”, “honey”, etc.

I’d probably send the Cheer for Dad singing video to my husband from the kids for Father’s Day.  Here is the personalization screen for the card and you can see I put in some samples from the dropdown menus so you can get an idea of the wide variety of phrases to choose from:

When you’re ready to send your singing video card, you can choose to send it to them on facebook, by email, or to their cell phone.  Learn more.

The American Greetings service is a membership service and you can choose from monthly ($3.99) or yearly ($19.99 for one year or $29.99 for 2 years).  If you’re not sure if it’s for you, try the 7 day free trial membership, which includes access to the video eCards.

American Greetings eCards are convenient for last-minute gifts, especially since you can attach a gift card to your eCard.  They’re not just for holidays either – you can use them as a fun alternative to email for saying hi.  Make your American Greetings eCard now.  Which video card would you choose?

VTech VReader – Kids’ Learning System Review

VreaderThis video is a few years old now, but the information is still helpful to moms and dads looking for a handheld learning e-reader for their kids.

VTech VReader Review

The prices have come down significantly both on the system and on the games since I made the video.  The games were $20-$40 per game then, now they’re $5-$20 per game.

With the prices being so much less now, I would actually recommend buying the system and additional games.  My apprehension before was that the price was not a good value for an e-reader that was basically just a toy.  Now with the lower price, I’m okay with them using it as an electronic toy.

→ Buy the Vreader at Amazon.

All 3 of my kids have used it now (ages 6, 3, and 2) and my middle daughter actually gets more out of the learning game features than my son did.  Watch my VTech Vreader review below to see the features.
