Our menu plan this week features recession recipes from $5 Dinners, a great site for frugal moms and budget conscious cooks like myself! Recession recipes use a lot of our favorite frugal cooking ingredients, which help you feed you family more on less money.

Monday

Wednesday
Dinner: Impossible Cheeseburger Pie, a recession recipe that calls for ground beef. You all know ground meat is one of my favorite ingredients to stretch your grocery dollars.
Thursday
Dinner: Mini Meatloaves and Mashed Potatoes.
Friday
Dinner: Pizza Boats. Tell me your kids won’t love this recession recipe! Mini homemade pizzas – made with custom toppings for your little guys’ taste buds.
Saturday
Dinner: Taco Macaroni and Cheese.
Sunday
Dinner: Leftover Love. Spread out a buffet table of all the leftovers from the week’s meals. This means a day-off for the chef!

The ham and swiss roll ups sound wonderful, but then the whole menu does. Great plan!
Impossible Cheesburger Pie is one of our favorite recipes around here! The Ham & Swiss roll-ups look delicious too, we’ll be trying them soon.
