What’s Homemaker Barbi cookin’ this week?

My husband is cooking this week because I’m on bed rest from surgery. This is his menu that he planned with the theme of pinto beans as a common ingredient. A lot of my ingredients overlap for meals; learn how to maximize your menu plan savings by using the Top 8 Frugal Cooking Ingredients!

Breakfast choices: Cold cereal, oatmeal

Lunches: (leftovers, brown bagged!)

Dinners:

Monday~ Beans (pintos) & rice with salad

Tuesday~ Quesadillas (made with homemade refried beans and veggies)

Wednesday~ Nachos (made with homemade refried beans and veggies)

Thursday~ Bean soup and veggie sandwiches. Veggie sandwiches include cucumbers, avocado and sprouts (home-sprouted lentils and mung beans).

Friday~ **Leftover Love**

Saturday~ Chili (homemade, previously prepared and in the freezer)

Sunday~ **Leftover Love**
