Menu Plan – Featuring MyRecipes.com
Our menu plan this week features recipes from the cooking site MyRecipes.com. We like to focus on recipes with only a few ingredients, so you have to stock less food in your pantry.
Print out the menu plan each Sunday, which includes:
- A printable grocery shopping list of ingredients. Print out the list, check off what you already have on hand, then take your shopping list to the store.
- A dinner meal for each day. Click the name of the meal to print the recipe and directions. (After the week is over, add the recipes to your cookbook for future use.)

My husband loves General Tso’s chicken, but I’ve never even thought of making it. That would be a great surprise for me to dish up on his birthday. Of course, that’s not until October, but I saved it in my favorites so I wouldn’t lose it.
I love the way you’re linking to these trusted recipes. I usually end up linking to recipes, too, because typing them out takes so long and makes me worry about making a mistake!
Yum! General Tso’s Chicken is my favorite dish to get when we eat Chinese. Thanks for posting that link. :D

These high winds are really kicking those of us wih allergies. Ugh!
Well, while I’m waiting for the coffee to brew I thought I would stop by MPM blogs and see what’s being served.
Your menu sounds delicious.
@Sherry: Please let me know if you make it. I’m curious as to if it really tastes like the kind you get for Chinese takeout.
@Pamela: Glad you like the list and thanks for stopping by!

@Rona: Sorry to hear about the allergies. In spring we get a lot of pollen from Russia, believe it or not, because the winds carry it across to ocean right to Alaska. Crazy!

@Kayren: Now THAT’s thinking ahead! How about a father’s day treat for dinner? That’s a bit sooner! Thanks for coming by :)

@Meredith: Thank you- I’m glad you like it! *agree* that typing out recipes takes entirely too long. Thanks for leaving a comment over here :)
