January Was a Record Breaking Month!

January was a busy month for us. In fact, we broke all previous records for all statistics and had our biggest day and biggest month ever. Thank you so much- we couldn’t have done it without you! Did you miss any of these exciting happenings?
We’ve Got a New Look!
We launched a new design on January 6th, but I just realized that many of our subscribers haven’t seen it yet. Thanks to my mom for this insight, who was my first email subscriber ever, by the way! When I asked if she liked the new site, she said, “You didn’t send out an update saying it was ready.” This is true. So here it is:
If you read our articles through email or a feed reader, please visit the front page to see the newly-expanded magazine. We strive to be the internet’s most comprehensive Home and How-To magazine, and we’ve added a few new departments:
- Mommy Tech Department – for blogging tips, how-to articles, twitter help, gadget news and technology tips that save you time. Being a mommy blogger just got easier!
- Mommy Style Department – includes not only beauty and fashion advice, but also our personal development and self improvement section called Love Your Life. Look for a lot of new material to be showing up soon.
Oh, I’m Out There, Jerry… Out There, and Lovin’ It!
Sorry, but I just couldn’t resist the Seinfeld reference! It seems like I was everywhere spreading the word about Homemaker Barbi in January. Here are some places around the web and in the media you could find us last month:
- Danelle Ice of Homemaker Barbi featured is a Wal-Mart 11 moms Guest Blogger (pictured at left- the 2nd one is me!).
- Our Inauguration recipes were a huge hit! The Obamelets even got a link on Huffington Post.
- I was interviewed by local TV news station, KTVF-11 about being a problogger and our frugal tips.
- My friend The Happy Housewife published a guest post of mine about how to make money from blogging.
