I am a huge fan of toddler safety harnesses and, as a mother of 4, I use them nearly every time I leave the house with my kids. Harnesses let your child explore and feel independent without putting them in danger. They also give you peace of mind, knowing that they can’t run off leaving you to try chasing them down while leaving your other kids unattended.
One of my favorite brands / styles of toddler safety harnesses is the Jeep 3-in-1 Backpack Harness.
I love the mini backpack harness so much that I shot a video demonstrating how easy it is to use! It’s sleek and cool for your older toddler who may think he’s outgrown the stuffed doggy harness, the monkey harness, or even the Elmo harness (yes, we’ve used them all). Plus, this backpack harness lets your little guy carry his goodies (snacks, toys, crayons) with him.
What safety harnesses have you tried for your children? Let us know in the comments below.
