Like the versatility of using baking mix (aka Bisquick) but don’t want to pay the extra? You can make your own:
Ingredients:
10 cups All-purpose flour

1/3 cup Baking powder
1/4 cup Sugar (you can substitute Splenda if you want, but refer to their website for substitution tips first)
1 tbs salt
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients
2. Add shortening and stir
3. Stores in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator for 5-6 weeks or freeze.

Or if you prefer not to use sugar, like me, you can try these ingredients and follow the same directions:
8 cups Flour
1 1/4 cup Nonfat Dry Milk
1/4 cup Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Salt
2 cups Shortening
1 1/4 cup Nonfat Dry Milk
1/4 cup Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Salt
2 cups Shortening
