Housekeeping Heaven: Get to Know Courtney

My name is Courtney – but most people across the web know me as Homemaker Hero. I am a perfect blend between the 1950’s housewife and the modern housewife.

Aside from being a homemaker and having a website, what qualifies me to have my own cleaning column on Homemaker Barbi? I know way more about cleaning that most people should. I’m fascinated with history – especially history about subjects I deal with on a daily basis. It’s no secret that girls have a lot of stuff and when my husband and I ended up raising three of them, I was forced to learn everything I could about cleaning and organizing.

If you are reading this column because you have absolutely no cleaning habits and want to learn how to have a clean house, there’s one thing you will need to understand. It takes 30 days of consistently doing something for it to become a habit. So if at first you don’t succeed, keep at it for 30 straight days. Cleaning will soon have a permanent place in your life.

Being a writer with three kids, a husband, a dog, a home business, and a personal life – you best believe that I will find the easiest and fastest ways to get the job done while still doing a good job.
