Hallmark Magazine and Country Home Magazine Closed: Out of Business

This is a time of transition and change in media, and as the exodus from print magazines continue, we’ll likely see more of our favorite print newspapers and magazines going out of business.

We have some sad news to tell: 2 more of our favorite print homemaker magazines have closed.  All writers who were employed at either magazine are more than welcome to contact us and possibly come work at the Home Ever After magazine instead.

Country Home magazine is out of business as of March 2009.  They sent us a letter that they are closing this month.  If you are a subscriber to Country Home  magazine, they will send you monthly issues of Better Homes and Gardens magazine until your subscription runs out.

Hallmark magazine is out of business as of March 2009.  After 3 years, famous greeting card retailer Hallmark is closing the doors on its magazine due to the current economic recession.  The February/March 2009 issue is Hallmark’s last print magazine. 

If you have a subscription to Hallmark magazine, they’ll contact you to let you know about the remainder of your subscription.  Also, you can contact them at 866-877-7198 to ask about your subscription’s status.
