What a great Family Friday roundup already and it’s only 9:15 in the morning! I had a great time getting some good ideas about food storage from Diann, reading about camping and enjoying good memories as I read the article at Beautiful Calling, and learned an interesting and tasty-sounding new recipe at Shelley’s. Thanks for this terrific resource! I have to confess, I also brain-deaded it and accidentally added myself twice, since the first time I hit return too soon and it listed last week’s title instead of this weeks swimming title. I humbly apologize I plead too little sleep due to two adorable grand-twins, along with too many fun distractions by same adorables. Have a terrific day y’all

What a great article! It’s amazing how much more kids enjoy helping you than they do playing with expensive toys.
My 2-yr-old loves to help wash dishes. I scoot a kitchen chair over to the sink, and fill up the washtub with lots of soapy bubbles. I give her the tupperware to “wash.” She loves it so much, I can’t wash the real dishes without her begging to help!

Another great article- I love the idea about putting dishes in the sink. My toddler does this- he still uses plastic dishes and cups and he just basically throws them up in the sink. We didn’t teach him to- he saw us doing it and just started- sometimes kids are easier than adults!
