Free Pictures with the Easter Bunny at Walmart April 2010
We’ve been getting a lot of questions from readers about free photos with the Easter bunny at Walmart this year. I spoke with Walmart staff today to confirm that they are offering free photos with the Easter bunny and Easter egg hunts again this year.
In my local store, there will be an
Easter egg hunt and free pictures with the Easter bunny on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 in Walmart at 8am.
Those times are good for the Walmart in Fairbanks, Alaska. This doesn’t mean all Walmart stores will be the same though. Call your local Walmart store to find out if they are also having free pictures with the Easter bunny and/or an Easter egg hunt, and ask them what day and time, just in case not all stores are participating at the same time.

About the Free Photos: The photo above is an actual photo of my son, Truett Ice-Simmons, with the Easter Bunny at Walmart last year. They had a costumed character along with a cute setup (backdrop, stuffed animals of bunnies and chickens, and decorative Easter baskets) for the photos.
You could bring your own camera and take photos or they had staff taking digital photos for free which you could pick up in the photo department about 30 minutes later.

(OLD) Easter: April 5th, 2009
A sign appeared in my local Walmart in Fairbanks, Alaska a few days ago about free pictures with the Easter bunny.
In my local store, it looks like there will be an Easter egg hunt and free pictures with the Easter bunny on Sunday, April 5th, 2009 from 10am to 2pm.
In the meantime, please call your local Walmart store to find out if they are also having free pictures with the Easter bunny and/or an Easter egg hunt, and ask them what day and time, just in case not all stores are participating at the same time.

my local wal-mart is not haveing an easter bunny this year :-( it’s the one in Miami, Oklahoma

turnersville nj is having it
We did this last year and we got some great pictures for a lot less than the mall and no lines at all (they will print a photo package for you for $5 or $10, or you can take your own). Unfortunately I was only able to find one local store doing it this year and they only gave me a “we think so but we’re not sure what time.” We’ll check it out for sure. For those in Charleston,SC, it is the Summerville Dorchester Rd store (didn’t check on West Ashley, just North Charleston stores). Well worth the trip!
Every year I have taken my daughter to get Easter Bunny Pics at Walmart in Colorado. This year they have said NO Easter Bunny!!! The Easter Bunny is not coming to the Denver Colorado Area Walmarts. Im sooo sad :(
