You all know how much I love giving away free food, and in honor of Thanksgiving coming up, we’ve got another free food giveaway for you!  You can win the Campbell’s soup and V8 Fusion free food prize pack you see at left.  Scroll down to enter.

Tricking Your Kids to Eat Vegetables

If you’re a regular reader at Home Ever After, you know we are constantly talking about how to get your kids to eat vegetables.  I am a big fan of sneaking in vegetables where your kids least expect it (whether pureeing, juicing, or other tricky methods).  This means putting them in other foods that your children love to eat or drink anyway!  The V8 Fusion juices are not only 100% juice, but each glass contains both a full serving of fruit AND a full serving of vegetables.    

When I got to try out these new V8 Fusion juices on my family, I didn’t tell anyone that the juice had vegetables in it.  Both containers were completely gone in less than 2 days, and my daughter was complaining that she only had a few cups of the Strawberry Banana flavor. 

I loved both of these juices, and have to note that they don’t taste like they have vegetables in them.  If you’re going off of a memory of the regular V8 tomato and vegetable juice, you’ve got to start fresh and try these out because they’re completely different.  I’m a V8 Fusion convert now, and you better believe my kids are too!

As a frugal mom, I’m always thinking about getting the best nutrition for my family for the best price.  Value is very important to me, and when I read through the labels on the V8 Fusions and found out I could buy this juice instead of regular fruit juice for the same price (price comparison made at my local Walmart), I was very impressed.  It’s like getting an added bonus of vegetable juice for free – but the catch is that my children actually like it and beg for more!

    My favorite Campbells soup of all time is Chicken Gumbo. Would eat it as a kid and still love it! Being from the Pacific Northwest, Gumbo was something different for me! Yum I think I will go buy some!

    My son loves v8 Fusion. He is 2.5 and I dilute it for him, which helps us extend the bottles. I don’t mind giving him juice because he’s getting fruit and veggies.
