Tackle It Tuesday Meme

Tackle it Tuesday: Exercise Equipment Turned Clutter Catcher

I have a treadmill and an elliptical workout machine in my bedroom. Unlike a lot of people, I LOVE my exercise equipment and feel lucky to have it in my home (it was a great Christmas present from a relative). However, after an injury I couldn’t use the cardio equipment anymore, and started piling stuff in front of it. Whether the workout machines are in use or not, none of that stuff belonged piled on the floor! So the work began…

Most of these items did have homes, they just weren’t in them! Of course some of the stuff had no place to go, which is probably how it came to be piled in my bedroom floor in the first place. The items with homes were put in them, the items without were either assigned new homes or taken to the Donation Station. This project looked big, but didn’t take that long to complete. View my bedroom floor now, with a clear path to the workout equipment. Hooray!

    Wow, what a difference.

That makes me want to move the clothes hanging on the treadmill and jump on it and exercise. Novel idea!

Looks like a motivating space now!!

Great job in cleaning up. I use to have a tread mill and it caught more clothes and dust than me using it.

    Have a great week!

Good tackle…now it looks like you’re all ready to jump on! :)

Looks great, I keep my exercise equipment in the basement. So it doesn’t collect clutter, but it is also hard at times to actually get down there and use it.
