Earth Day Contest – What’s Your Best Party Idea?

Celebrations.com is having an Earth Day contest in honor of Earth Day this year. The contest runs from 3/31-4/22/09 and is a great way for moms to go green, get their kids involved with recycling, and win cool prizes at the same time!
“Earth Day is April 22nd and it’s the perfect occasion to get involved in your community and help improve the environment. The party organizer with the best idea will receive a Jamis bike as well as a $100 Whole Foods gift certificate…courtesy of Honest Tea.”
You can enter as many times as you want, so if you’re really creative, you’ll have good chances of winning the grand prize. Here’s how to enter:
“Tell in 500 words or less about an eco-friendly party activity or game idea that you’d organize at your Earth Day celebration. How will your party activity or game contribute to your local community and what steps will you take to get your party guests involved? If possible, include a photo.”

Sounds like a great idea! This Earth Day, we’re going to be cleaning up around the home outside to see what trash has accumulated in the area. We’ll also see if we can make some resolutions for the upcoming year. I know water usage is probably our biggest vice.
