  1. Charities are hard for me to turn down but I also wonder if they are legit! Interesting information on the link you have posted. I donate to the Ronald McDonald House and I will usually tell other charities this when soliciting.

  3. Belated thanks for mentioning my charity article. I’m glad you and Nest Egg liked it. :)

    It can be hard to tell right away if a charity is legit, which is why I always do research…too much time spent reading about ones that aren’t.

    I completely agree. It’s much better to do the research on your own, and contribute to charities because you want to and know that your money will make a difference, not because you’re made to feel guilty or pressured over the phone!
