Tackle it Tuesday: Desk Stackers

The baskets pictured are supposed to hold the small items that need to be on my desk, while making them look neater. In reality, they catch clutter and end up holding a lot of items which really don’t need to be at my workstation.
Step 1: Sort contents into “workstation” and “other.”
Step 2: Put all the “other” items away into their real homes.
Step 3: Arrange the “workstation” items neatly.
As you can see, once my tackle was complete there was only enough left to fill 1 basket! My medicines, jumpdrive, nail file, chapstick and camera case were all that remained. I realized that I really didn’t need those baskets after all, so the stackers are gone. I kept 1 basket on my desk for my everyday use items, and the other baskets have moved on to their next life.
