Best Mother’s Day Present in the World – I’m Pregnant!

It’s a very Happy Mother’s Day to me… We got wonderful news yesterday that I’m pregnant!
I don’t usually post personal information, but this was just so big that I wanted to share it with all my wonderful readers and friends! My husband was cooking dinner, chopping up cauliflower, actually, when we found out the news last night.
I’m exactly 20 days pregnant today, and my approximate due date is January 16th. Needless to say, I’ll be hugely pregnant at Blog World Expo in October! Strangely, this will be the 2nd pregnancy in a row that I am in Las Vegas while very pregnant (I was 9 months along last time)…
Due to this unexpected news, I won’t be able to complete the 23 pounds in 23 days challenge that I was blogging about over at DanelleIce.com. I’ll still blog about staying fit during pregnancy and eating clean, but no rapid weight loss due to the new baby!
My wonderful husband insisted on taking me out to dinner to celebrate and then having an impromptu photo shoot of his jubilant glowing pregnant wife! Thanks to all of the wonderful Facebook, Twitter and bloggy friends who wished us luck in our trying and prayed for us. This is the best Mother’s Day present ever!

I think it will be great to see someone blogging health/fitness during a pregnancy. I haven’t seen it yet (or I haven’t found one at least). And, it’s a great topic that would provide some motivation and encouragement for sure!!
Congrats. I announced today as well…except I am due Oct. 31st. I am with you there on being preggo at a conference, I will be HUGE at BlogHer. Congrats and wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.
