It was painful for me to buy all that soil, and I couldn&#039;t believe how much it cost (even from Walmart).  But if you reuse the soil by rotating what plants you put in different pots (like farmers do with rotating crops) you can get several seasons out of the soil without having to fertilize.

My hubby is doing the container garden this year, and it&#039;s a lot of fun. It sure was a relief to me not to have to re-purchase the soil!  lol (Sometimes I am TOO frugal for my own good!)
