Hi. I was wondering the same thing??! Are you still planning on doing a 2nd round of the program? I am so similar to you. I had my 2nd baby 10 months ago on Feb. 4th and my first just turned 11 years old on Jan. 30th! I have to say that it is SOOO hard for me to lose weight 10 years after my first pregnancy. I am 30 years old and am also only 5" 1" tall. My normal before kids was 105 (although, 10 years later, I was about 115 at the time of my 2nd pregnancy-I am about 125 right now and have not been able to get below 120 at all! And, I am "chubby"-to say it nicely and def. need to tone up big time) and I would LOVE to get to 105 again (although, it's more about what I look like then the weight in the end-that's just my goal for now, that may change as my body hopefully does!)!! I started the firm express last Thursday and I didn't do the 4-day kick start either. I know it is set up to start on Mon., but my workouts were on Thurs, Sat., and Mon. (today). I didn't change my diet or do any measurements, so I was thinking about "starting over" too. I want to do the 4-day kick start and atleast some what of a diet and actually do measurements. I have never been a hard core exerciser or anything, but have always done dvd's at home and have had no problems staying a good size (just doing that), but I have hardly done anything in a while and esp. since being preg. and having my 10 month old. I hope to hear from you, even if you haven't started again yet. You have support!! I know I usually don't stick to anything either. I usually do it the first week and then that's it! That's why I am where I am though! lol Please let us know (either way)!! :)

I love the idea, but will it work for homemade marshmallows as well? I know the store bought have a ton of preservatives in them.

Hello Mothers'
I just had a c-section a week ago..the experince was very difficult and emtional for me..this was my first child and will probably be my last..i really wanted to have a natural birth but baby didnt want that. After surgery i was so cold and in pain. The day after i tried to get up and move n it was painful at first but the more moving i did the less pain i felt. im at home now n everyone (especially my gma) is telln me to take it easy n not do much, but being active is so much less painful. And while i was n the hospital they used the maxi pads for the cut n i am using them still. Goodluck to you all!

When will you be doing this second experiment?

You're the ONLY one i've found who is experimenting WITHOUT adding anything to the workouts! I read so many blogs where they keep adding more to the routines, and then lament it's not working! I don't think you are suppose to "add" anything!

BTW, at least you had a reason for your weight gain, your precious baby - me? I gained weight from just emotional overeating! I am starting Feb 1st on my weight loss, and i have about 35 kilos - yup kilos, not pounds - to lose! Sigh! So, it'll be great to keep up with your second experiment. Congratss on your first segment of weight loss - i lost 22 pounds first, and then put it all back cos i had something hard to deal with and turned to food! This time i promised myself i am losing the weight forever!

All the best! Keep us informed!

I stumbled across your post today and it is spot on. Now a mom of three I think about my childhood and my parents childhood alot now and I feel like all of the parenting issues we have is directly related to ALL of our grandmas being doped up on this crap! It directly affected our parents and in turn us. Hopefully we can grow and learn from this.

Dearest Danelle;
I have been thinking about you since I read that you would be moving from your Home in Beautiful Alaska. I am Praying for all of you. Please trust in the Lord, to Guide and Provide for you.
I am very sorry to hear about how things are with Hannah.....Have Faith that God will answer your Prayers.
I wish the very Best for you and all of your Family always.
Please Take Care and try to Relax. :-)

Thanks for the prayers, DeAnn! That's the scripture that is on the cover of my laptop - I put it on with gold scrapbooking letters! It sounds like you've already been through a similar experience and you're settled now. Do you like NC better than Florida? We were looking at a few job openings in Florida in different cities, thinking that would be a WHOLE lot warmer than here! Thanks for thinking of my family always. You're such a good friend! *hug*

You're lucky that you'll be leaving Alaska about the same time as us for warmer surroundings!

What a great article Danelle! I love all the pictures and the details! Yes life is hard up here, and it seems like the older we get the harder it is to take it.
