Box Tops For Education Holders

Box Tops for Education Refrigerator Holder

Let’s organize another one of the messiest things in the kitchen / dining room area today. Today we’re going to make a permanent home for your little Box Tops. Box Tops for Education, Betty Crocker points, UPCs for rebates, Campbells Soup Labels: all these items come off of packages which are usually kept in the kitchen.
Without a system for storing for these little cut-out labels while waiting to turn them in or redeem them, they can get scattered or lost and possibly never used. Instead of letting them end up in multiple places, create a permanent home for these items that your whole family knows about and can use.
Box Tops Holder
While cooking, I quickly tear off the Box Top area of the package and throw it in the holder on the fridge. No need to worry about cutting them out now. When my Box Tops for Education holder gets full, I dump out the labels and put the holder back on the refrigerator. The kids have a fun time cutting out the labels along the dotted lines and putting them in a ziploc bag to donate to a local school.
I use 6”x9” yellow envelopes to make my holders. I also laminate my sign before I tape it to the envelope so that it doesn’t get food splatters or foodie finger prints on it (I have a lot of kids!). The laminating is optional though – your kids may not be as messy as mine! However, my first holder lasted for 5 years unlaminated before I printed out a new one to give it a refresher.

Important: Make sure your family knows that the holder is there for everyone to use! Get them in the habit of removing the Box Tops you want saved and putting them right into their new home – the refrigerator holder!
