But I have a meal rotation now so there is little difference in the budget for each week- especially because we're a family on EBT and WIC- and Aldi doesn't take WIC. The only (and I stress ONLY) thing I get over with them is that you can have a fantastic product one week, but not the next week, or for months. Especially with their meat department. If I knew that I could find a pot roast on the week that I've planned for it, I'd stick to them. They're at least 98% private label (generic. store brand), but sometimes better than their national brand counterparts... and lots of imported items... their chocolate is fabulous. Their products are Awesome. I shop there once a week, and the price differences that you can save on chips, eggs, milk, canned goods, some frozen items, ect are well worth going there for!!! BTW........The chocolate candy bars are from Germany, they are Wonderful!!!!!! As are some other items. I hope that anyone who has wondered about Aldi's will now shop there, as some of the foods are better than most stores, and its a Great Value!!!!!
